The 2020 Ford Power Roundup

A closer look at Ford's most powerful models
After one hundred years of automotive engineering evolution, the modern driver deserves modern power. Lynch Ford Chevrolet feels you, which is why we’re honoring the top three most powerful models in the Ford lineup. And the winners are… (Please imagine a drumroll in your head.)
Most Torque
Weighing in with a 6.7-liter Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel powerhouse, the behemoth 2020 Super Duty F-450 drops the mic with 1,050 lb-ft of torque and 475 horsepower. That means it can haul an extra 7,850 lbs on its back or a maximum gooseneck towing capacity of 37,000 lbs.
Most Powerful Street Rider
The 2020 Mustang Shelby® GT500® (pictured above) is the latest in a long line of legendary ponies from Ford. It uses a modern 5.2-liter Supercharged V8 engine to deliver up to 760 horses and 625 lb-ft of torque. This Mustang gallops to the front of the herd, thanks to track-ready upgrades, like a MagneRide® Damping System and TREMEC® seven-speed manual transmission. It crushes the zero-to-sixty time in less than four seconds. Selectable drive modes and launch control give drivers total domain over how the GT500® performs.
Top Electric-Only Speed
Ford revolutionized the electric vehicle industry by introducing the 2021 Mustang Mach-E. This model is changing the way we view electric vehicles, because not only is it a zero-emissions model, it still provides the performance and power you'd expect from a vehicle with the Mustang nameplate. Ford is aiming to make the Mustang Mach-E is capable of a range of up to 300 miles, but also able to reach 60mph from a dead stop in under four seconds.
These are just the top models on our list, and there are many more feats of strength from Ford we would love to tell you about. So chug that energy drink, down that double espresso, or crush whatever rocket fuel you’re consuming, and come see us at Lynch Ford Chevrolet or contact us today to learn more about the powerful options we have in our showroom.
