After one hundred years of automotive engineering evolution, the modern driver deserves modern power. Lynch Ford Chevrolet understands, so this month, we’re honoring the top three most powerful models in the Chevrolet lineup. And the winners are… (Please imagine a drumroll in your head.)

Most Horsepower

The infamous Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (pictured above) has returned! This explosion of propulsion uses a supercharged 6.2-liter LT5 supercharged small block V8 engine to produce a heart-pounding 755 hp and 715 lb-ft of torque. Supercar fans might tear up at the sight of this masterpiece of engineering going 0 to 60 in 2.85 seconds and crushing the track at a blistering top speed of 212 mph. To be clear: the new ZR1 is the most powerful production Corvette ever made. Just watch it hit top track speed in Papenburg, Germany:

Most Towing Capacity

The all-new 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD (pictured below) will come available with a Duramax® 6.6-liter turbocharged diesel V8 engine, one strong enough to propel this workhorse over mountains and down the interstate, and producing up to 910 lb-ft of torque. Not only can you seat five passengers comfortably on the inside, you can also tow up to a segment-leading 35,500 lbs. That’s a lot of gear!

Most Powerful Electric Vehicle

The Chevy Bolt EV’s (pictured below) all-electric engine is truly a technological achievement. This modern marvel puts out an impressive 200 hp, and it uses all wheels to accelerate from 0 to 60 in 6.5 seconds. Not only is it fast, but it can go as far as 238 miles on a single charge.* If you're not ready to go all-electric just yet, Chevy also offers extremely efficient hybrids in the Volt and Malibu sedans, each combining this innovative electric power technology with tried and tested gasoline-powered engines. The future is now!
